SUNNY BEACH - SEA, SUN AND BEACH

The resort of Sunny Beach is one of the most prestigious European seaside resorts, established more than 55 years ago.  It spreads along the biggest 12 km long beach on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and the below the ridges of the Balkan Mountains. 
The resort of Sunny Beach is situated along the span of the bay of Nessebar, far from major urban areas, which makes it especially attractive for living and sea holydays. It stays just 36 km from the international Burgas Airport and only 6 km from the ancient town of Nessebar. The beach is 12 km long, covered with fine golden sand and this is why the sunny Beach resort is the most unique place of the entire Black sea coast. Annually, this beach is awarded with the international prize “Blue Flag” for cleanliness and the best conditions for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. According to statistic records, the average summer daily temperature is 27 deg. C, seawater temperature – 24deg. C.  Starting from May and until the end of September the place turns into summer paradise – clean healthy air, moderate climate, flat sandy bottom, no dangerous or carnivorous sea fauna, numerous parks, gardens and green areas. 
In the resort complex numerous hotels, villa settlements, and residential complexes were built. On the territory of the resort there is an Aqua park,  many   sports facilities, mini-golf,  bowling,  a horse riding facility, shopping and amusement sites. More than 500 restaurants, taverns and entertainment venues offer superb cuisine to their visitors. 
The climatic features of this are gave the name to this resort.  Europe does not have many sand beaches oriented to the east. One of these is exactly the beach of Sunny Beach. The combination of 1700 hours of sunshine from May to October and seawater is quite beneficial for a vital tonus.
